By using our website and ordering from us, you are accepting our terms and conditions. Please note that no contract exists between us until we have contacted you about your order in person. All prices are in pounds sterling, retail prices include VAT. We welcome payment by card - Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Maestro or Electron. We regret that we cannot accept American Express cards. Payment will not be taken until the goods are being dispatched, and we will only take payment for goods being dispatched on that day. Unfortunately we cannot accept cheques for retail orders.
We will contact you to confirm stock availability on your order, so please provide a daytime contact number or an email address you will check regularly. It is also possible to make changes to your order at this time.
Back Orders
Any back orders that will fit through your letterbox will be dispatched when the stock is delivered to us. For anything over this size we will give you a call to arrange a delivery time.
Delivery
Most goods will be sent on a service that requires a signature. Please specify a delivery address where someone will be available during normal office hours to sign for the parcel.
Gift Orders
We aim to displatch your orders within 48 hours of receiving payment subject to availability, however please allow up to 14 days for delivery of your purchases. Should you require you orders for a specific date, please contact our customer service team on 0115 9250599 and we will endeavour to meet your needs.
Carriage Charges
Carriage to Mainland UK orders for all non-furniture items is only £3.95, no matter how many items you buy! For all orders this includes insurance should the goods be lost or broken in transit.
Furniture Orders.
All furniture is available, but subject to a lead time of up to a maximum of 12 weeks. We hold stocks of many items, but cannot advise on specific lead times until we have received your order. Should you require any further details regarding lead times before placing an order, please call our customer service team on 0115 9250599.

Furniture Delivery Standard Service
Unless you select our two man delivery service, furniture will be delivered on a pallet to your door, or if small enough to be boxed, by courier. Deliveries will be made Monday to Friday, within normal office hours. Please ensure you will be in when your pallet is due to be delivered as there may be an additional charge for re-delivery. The standard service could be delivered in an extra large truck, and the driver is not able to leave it out of sight, so please make sure you are confident there is enough room in your street for him to get to your house.
Please check items for damages before the driver leaves, as it is not possible to claim for damages that have occurred in transit, if they are not pointed out to the driver. Unfortunately the driver can not remove the pallet or wrapping. The standard delivery service costs ranges from £10 to £50 for UK mainland orders, depending on where you live. We will be able to dispatch the goods from our warehouse within a few days of receiving the order, dependent upon stock levels.
Fairly Trading Delivery Plus...
For just £25 more, we have our in-house delivery service. We will deliver the items into a room and position of your choosing, unwrap and wait while you check the items are in good condition. We will then also take away the packaging. We will give you a maximum window of 3 hours (subject to normal traffic conditions) and on request will give you a phone call when we're about 1 hour away. For all furniture orders, please supply a daytime contact phone number as we need to speak to you to arrange delivery.
Delivery Plus is only available on deliveries to UK Mainland addresses. For all other destinations we will contact you with a quotation for delivery. We ship worldwide, so please feel free to place orders wherever you are, and we will give you a call with a quotation for delivery.
Returns
Please notify us of any breakages within 7 days of receiving the order, and we will send a replacement. Unwanted items may be returned in their original packaging, in perfect saleable condition, for a full refund. We regret that postage costs cannot be refunded unless goods are being returned due to an error on our part. This applies to both outbound and return postage. Goods must be returned within 14 days of receipt of the order. Unfortunately we are unable to accept returned earrings unless faulty.
Descriptions and Care of Goods
We have taken every care to ensure that pictures and descriptions are representative, but please be aware that most products are handmade and minor variations are inevitable. This is particularly true for soft furnishings, even more so for those made from recycled sari- all these pieces are unique.

When you place an order, we require your name, address, telephone number and email address. We will not ever need your payment details as your payment will be taken by PayPal using their secure server.
