These stunning dragons are made from a clever mix of waste sawdust and latex that has been carefully shaped around a wire frame and decorated by hand!
We found this supplier in the middle of nowhere in northern Thailand, drawn to their workshop by the noise of an actual Formula One car being revved in the workshop next door. One of the more bizarre ways to find a supplier!!
The family we found make all of these products by hand, recycling the sawdust created by other local handicraft producers. Once set, they hand paint them to ensure each one is unique!
Not only do these dragons make a beautiful gift, they are also a fantastic ornament to brighten any shelf, mantle or window sill with the added bonus of being fair trade!
Due to the unique hand-painted nature of the item, each item will be slightly different in its colour scheme, but all are as beautiful and striking as the last.
