History of Iguazu

Iguazu was first established in 2003 by Neil and Karen. Over the years Iguazu has gone from being just one small shop on Beeston High Road to be a chain with two thriving shops, plenty of extensions to the original shop and a full team of staff. Opening the West Bridgford shop during the recession of 2008.

During the first few months of 2016, Iguazu received their first container of imports which were sourced from Thailand. By doing this, Iguazu can ensure that the families and teams are getting the right money.

Iguazu has been working ever since with over 200 small suppliers, bringing in unique products not seen in the UK before.

Iguazu now imports furniture from Java as well as Thailand and hope to start importing from Bali in the coming years. This has brought a new lease of life to the shops; Iguazu has always supported many fair￾trade importers and continue to do so, but to have our producers, and to work closely with them

building the supply chain together is very heart-warming. Iguazu currently stocks everything from cards, incense and jewellery to furniture, photo frames and throws.

Iguazu is also opening a 3rd shop in Newark in the next few months.
